The English-language service of SIDA INFO SERVICE is available to all English speakers, whether they be in France temporarily (visitors, tourists, seasonal workers, etc.), residents or planning to move to France.

This information, support and referral service is specifically designed for those who speak English (as well as Bambara, Arabic, Russian or Spanish).

Callers can ask questions about :
  • The health care system in France, how to enter the system and access to care for HIV, hepatites or STD.
  • Anxiety while waiting for test results
  • Worries concerning a possible risk taken
  • Secondary effects of treatment
  • Relationship problems with a spouse or family, following a HIV positive result

Someone is there to talk to you on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The initial exchange will be in French (note : in case of scheduling problems, there may not be anyone available to take your call in English ; the listener who greets you should be able to tell you when an English-speaker will be available)
